Hour of Code: Hour of Code was a movement started in end of 2013 that strives to advocate the education of Computer Science among people of all ages and fields. To promote their cause, Hour of Code asked celebrities and political figures, like President Obama, to partake in their easy-to-use online tutorials. The website itself provides tutorials for different levels and different languages. December of 2013 I got the opportunity to participate in a workshop being held at my local temple. The workshop, Hour of Code, was held to teach children coding using the tools found on the Hour of Code (now called CS Ed Week). Here I taught students between the ages of 5 to 7 simple and fun coding concepts. To learn more about the Hour of Code movement check out the references page.
